Picture Day

This is my kind of picture day.  A day out in the woods with the kiddos and a bunch of pictures.  I am sorry, I am too cheap to buy the traditional school pictures, so here is my solution.  I apologize in advance, I have taken alot of pictures and this is just the tip of the iceberg.  But, here are my FAVORITES :)  I love, love, love taking pictures, especially ones with my kiddos in them.  Enjoy.

I DID It!!!!

I did it! I did it!!  I finished my Bible in 90 Days.  I thought for sure I would be a drop-out, but I finished and a few days early.  I learned so much and revisited things I had learned previously.  It is neat to see how it all unveils when you read it right through.  I loved, loved, loved this program and I implore ALL of you to try this.  It may seem daunting at first, read the bible in 90 days as if, but it is so doable.  I am so glad I stuck with it.  Try it, you must!!

When your 40...

Well, since I turned 40 it was time for that rite of passage....The Mammogram.

This was my second mammogram.  I had a mammogram at 35 for some breast irregularity, but it came out negative.

Now, that I am 40, it was time to have a "screening" mammogram.  Am I really that old??

Anyway, I thought it was pretty appropo that I had this done during this month, October. 

I remember the first mammogram being a cinch, but this one really hurt, ouch!!

But, I am glad I got it done.  The results I will have soon. 

Make sure to check the Ta-Ta's, it could save your life.

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Don't forget to do your monthly Self Breast Exam and keep current with your Mammograms...it can save your life.

Fall Favorites

The family and I took a little trip to an apple orchard today.  We had some yummy cider and donuts.  Bought a few embellished caramel apples and some apples, of course.  I bought a bag of Honey Crisp and MacIntosh.  So, now onto the baking.
Oh, and I got a neat raw ironed cross the hubby bought me :)
