Taking the kids to work...

Yesterday, they were celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the surgery center's (where I work) opening.  They had tours of the OR, free food, bouncy things, face painting and balloon folders.

This is my boss, Julie giving my kids the low down.  This is set up for a knee arthroscopy.  This is where I work everyday.  Pretty cool that the public gets to see the inside of an OR :)

Abbi asking questions?

The surgical bed in the background.

They had a race car there, so Shane was in his glory.

Cullen loading up on hot dogs, popcorn and chips.  He was happy.

Shane on the climbing wall.

Brady getting a little help from her sister.

Brady loving the bouncy house.

Dragonfly face painting.

Shane's fire face painting.

Abbi's hibiscus

An end to a fun day.

We had a good time and best of all, it was free.

Thus looks like it was a lot of fun! My son would love the climbing wall.

Really impressive that they allow visitors like that. I think it would make a lot more people comfortable if they could see an OR before surgery in a non threatening way like that.

Glad the kids enjoyed it!
