Day 45!!

Well, it is day 45 of the 90 Day Challenge!!  I am ahead of schedule, whoo hoo!  I never thought I would make it this far, let alone to day #2.  I am loving this challenge and the mentors keep you in check.  I recommend this Challenge to everyone.

A Stroll Around the Neighborhood

The kids and I took a walk by the water last night.  It was so beautiful out.  We stopped to take a few pics.

Taking the kids to work...

Yesterday, they were celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the surgery center's (where I work) opening.  They had tours of the OR, free food, bouncy things, face painting and balloon folders.

This is my boss, Julie giving my kids the low down.  This is set up for a knee arthroscopy.  This is where I work everyday.  Pretty cool that the public gets to see the inside of an OR :)

Trip to the Dentist...

Today 3 of the kiddos went to a new Pediatric Dentist.  This was Brady's first time to the dentist.  I didn't know how she would react to the whole adventure, so I braced myself for a tumultuous time.  To my surprise, she was AWESOME!!

Shane first in the chair. He was a little apprehensive, he wanted to go to his old dentist.  But I assured him that this was going to be fun.

You even get sunglasses at the dentist.  I never got this when I was younger.

She even got a pink princess chair.  She was loving every minute of it.

I could hear Shane from the other room laughing hysterically.  What an awesome dental visit, especially for Shane and Brady. 

And they got to pick out trinkets at the end...even the dentist can be fun.

  I am not his mother but my heart aches and tears are shed.  I see that face, oh how precious, and it BREAKS me!!  That little body, malnourished and sickly, forever leaving a mark in my mind.
