A Night at the Fireworks

It was our local Fireworks on Saturday night and Cullen's first time seeing fireworks. He was excited, can you tell?

It rained and stopped and rained and stopped. Does Brady's hair give you any indication of how humid it was, look at the ringlets.
The fireworks start. We were right behind the the yacht club and you can see the masts of the sailboats.
Beautiful colors.

I think this looks like a jelly fish.

Looks like a pretty flower.

The kids watching the show, and a friends few kids with us.

Cullen looking at momma.

It was a great fireworks display and we had a great time with family and friends, despite the weather.
Happy Holidays,
Shelley :)

Have you ever seen a monkey on a scooter rolling down your street?

Father's Day and Summer Fun

We spent Father's Day at my in-laws. Abbi was looking for baby frogs, and catching some.

Baby frog. There were thousands of tadpoles in their pond a few weeks ago.
Brady did this the whole time. Just running everywhere, outside, inside. She was tired by the end of the day.
My honey, and his prized t-shirt for the day with Cullen. Can you tell the shirt is supposed to look like the lettering is duct tape. My husband loves his duct tape, ha ha.

My dad and Cullen.

The pool is finally up and the kiddos are loving it.

Abbi and Brady playing motorboat.

Cullen loves splashing in the baby pool. God, I love that face.

The two littles haning in the baby pool.

We had a great Father's Day weekend. I hope everyone enjoyed the wonderful weekend. Have a great week and God bless.

A Day In My Life ~ Saturday

It was a lazy Saturday around here today. Here is a few pics of our life on this very humid and warm Saturday.

We started the day off with some cinnamon rolls (I need some new cookie sheets??!!).

Brady with her usual poutty self when she is told no.

Cullen and his first bowl of oatmeal. Yumm, he loved it. He started grabbing the spoon from my hand.

Brady playing at the table, while she is supposed to be eating.

Got a few cortisone injections in my feet for some terrible plantar fascitits.

Brady and her breakfast.

I just love those little piggies poking out from under his seat. They are just so kissable.

My lilies are starting to bloom.

Shane being silly with his scooter.

Abbi in her new "modest" swim attire. We weren't very happy with the bathing suit from Old Navy and how it didn't cover certain places appropriately. Then a friend shared some revealing and eye-opening facts about girls dressing too sexy at this blog.

So, we found this cute little swim suit at Target for a steal :)

Our garden is starting to come up green. Here are a few of our tomato plants. Can't wait for salsa, marinara and oh I am learning to can.

Growing some tadpoles in the backyard.

Our doggie, Jasper. He looks pretty mangy, he is shedding the winter coat.

I hope everyone had a great and blessed day. Thanks for taking a peak into mine.
God Bless,
Shelley :)
