Donating Hair

Today I took Abbi to get her hair cut. Abbi was getting her hair cut to donate to Pantene Beautiful Lengths campaign. Abbi got 10 inches cut off today. The requirement for donation is 8 inches. The hair goes to make wigs for women with cancer. This is the third time Abbi has donated her hair. I am waiting just a little longer for my hair to grow out. I have also donated twice. Abbi ended up with such a cute and stylish haircut. She loves it!! I have caught her several times looking at the new haircut today!!

I encourage anyone willing to grow and cut their hair to donate to such a worthy cause!!

The first snip of the new haircut.

10 inches of hair to donate.

The new do and old hair.

I love how the back looks.

My cutie patootie daughter :)

Hi Shelley,

I hope you are having a fabulous Sunday! I travel mostly through out the state of South Carolina sharing my testimony. Occasionally I receive invitation to travel to other states. Usually what happens is a church contacts me and invites me speak on X date. If it is out of state the church then does all the travel arrangement. If your church is interested, i would be more than happy to talk to you about the possibility to speaking at your church. Just shoot me an e-mail at tightwadintraining@gmail.com :)

What a great new style!! I've donated once, a little more than a year ago, to Locks of Love. I can't wait to do it again. Thanks for wishing "R" a Happy Birthday. You made me feel so good when you said you had been worried about me. Hugs!! I haven't been feeling well and between starting homeschooling at the beginning of Aug. I've been struggling. My naseau is going away and I'm still praying that all goes well. Second trimester is about 3 weeks away. I'll breathe a little easier then. How are you and the family? Has hubby started homeschooling yet? You'll have to let me know how it goes for him. We've had lots of tears here, which lets me know I'm not going too easy on them. Just not sure if I'm going too hard on them.
