Shoes for Haiti

compassion.com

Greetings-
My name is Shelley Haskell. I am a proud momma of four beautiful kiddos. I am also a blogging momma trying to find my way in the world at Finding My Life in Faith.

We have just passed the year anniversary of the devastating earthquake that demolished Haiti. With that said, I am on a crusade to collect shoes for the people of Haiti. The epidemic of cholera is spreading like wildfire in this country. The people that are barefoot walk in contaminated soil and dirt which can lead to infection. I am asking for your help. I am asking for you to come along side me and help give the people of Haiti shoes so they may be safe from disease and injury. Many people have to hike anywhere from 2-5 hours in the mountains with no roads to receive medical care…barefoot.

I hope you can join with me on this mission that God has put on my heart. I am joining with others in my community to collect shoes locally. I will be partnering with a doctor from my community that frequently visits Haiti and she will be making the arrangements to send the shoes to the appropriate destinations in Haiti.

Monetary donations are greatly appreciated if that is on your heart to help.

I want to thank you for your time and any help you may be able to give this worthy mission.
“And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who
is known to be my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly be
rewarded.” Matthew 10:42
