Little Green Books Giveaway

The Little Green Books is a new series of books dedicated to teaching children about environmental issues surrounding our earth. All the books are printed with soy or vegetable ink made by recycled materials and are 100% recyclable. They tell of endangered species, pollution, global warming and ways to be eco-friendly. There is always a glossary of terms at the end of each book to reinforce learning of environmental terms.

These books are so cool!! I loved each one of them. I received 5 books to review. Each one for a different age level and reading level.


What do you see? is a flap book that goes looking for endangered species. My 2.5 yr old will love this book.(I am saving this book for Christmas :)) She is into opening up flaps and discovering what is underneath. She loves animals, so what a great combination. What a great message too!! You can teach your children a powerful message about saving these animals when there very young.


Santa Claus Is Green is a book about a young boy noticing all the waste that is generated by the Christmas holiday and employs Santa to do something about it. So, he does. It is an awesome journey about "going green" for the holidays and you can do that and make lasting changes. Another great message book. This will be great for my 6 yr old son. He will totally dig this. (Again, saving this one for Christmas).

I Can Save The Ocean! Such a cute book about Max the little green monster and how he saves his beach and ocean from pollution. He got sick of everybody polluting the beach and ocean with their litter and started cleaning it up and educating his friends.

Little Monkey is a soft fleece baby book is made of Polartec fleece made with recycled material. This book is perfect for my little guy who still chews on books and rips books. This is a cute little book with a monkey and a panda and their friendship.

Gifts from the Heart is by Victoria Osteen. This book highlights the special gifts that each one of us possess within ourselves. My daughter loved this book and really believed in the message of the book.
