Gratitude Monday

After having a very long day.  I decided to check out Ann's blog and read about one thousand gifts and the Gratitude Community.  In a world where tragedy is all around us, we need to find the blessing that surround and abound in our daily lives.  This is a wonderful way to search your heart and find the wonderful blessings God has bestowed upon us.  Check out Ann's blog at A Holy Experience to find this and so many more ways to grow in your walk with Him.

Blessings from God:

1.  Gathering around the kitchen table warm and cozy, coffee and cinnamon rolls.  Learning and teaching God's word.
2.  Shanes' drawings that take up every space on my refrigerator.
3.  Abbi playing with my hair as she talks about her day.
4.  Brady in her "princess" dress singing  Headphones by Britt Nicole and twirling.
5.  Cullen's big, sloppy, open mouthed kisses that he gives freely.
6.  The sounds of the wind chimes on my front porch.
7.  Kisses on my forehead from my husband.
8.  Sunrises that cause the water to glisten.
9.  My salvation.
10.  Warm, cozy covers as I slip into bed for the night.

God Bless and have a Great and Blessingful Week.

I have that book "One Thousand Gifts" sitting by my bed. I really should start reading it, I think the people at the library are going to want it back eventually.
You are right, we really need to remember to be thankful.

I’m here from Ann’s.

And of your list this week, this is my favorite: 6. The sounds of the wind chimes on my front porch. (because around me right now a tempest is raging – not a “weather” tempest – but a tempest to be sure – and this reminds me to keep my ears pealed for “wind chimes” His wind chimes) Thank you.

God bless you and keep you – and all of yours.

Hi Shelley

Visiting from Ann's.. I was drawn to your blog because you picture is very similar to my own. I love nature and see and experience God in His creation. Stop by and check out my pic when you have time (mine was taken where I live in the Caribbean) Isn't God's creation just awesome!

Love & Blessings

So glad to see you are counting gifts! It almost becomes a way of life and it changes your life eventually, too. My favorite? The pictures on the fridge! That is just too precious and makes me think of all the things I present to my Heavenly Father. I wonder if He hangs them on the fridge????? Thanks again for listing. It was a blessing!
